The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are headed home this week up 2-0 against the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL’s Coastal Conference Semifinals.
The Bulldogs travelled to Chilliwack over the weekend for the first two games of the series and won both games 3-1.
Bulldogs goaltender Callum Tung played the hero on both nights. Over the last four games, Tung has now stopped 140 out of 144 shots. His performance was especially impressive during Game 2 at the Chilliwack Coliseum on Saturday night, as the Bulldogs were out shot 34-11 on the night. Tung’s team still managed to pull off a 3-1 win.
Games 3 and 4 are scheduled to take place on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 23 and 24) at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. Puck drop is at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.albernivalleybulldogs.ca or at the Bulldogs box office.
