Donald was born and raised with 11 brothers and sisters in Whitney Ontario.
Don joined the Royal Canadian Airforce February 1952 and retired after 37 years of service.
In July 1955 Don married Muriel Pelletier and together they raised six children Donna Lynn, Robert (Coral), Darlene (Don), Brenda (Jim), Jacqueline (Bob) and Donald 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Don's passion was long car rides with a coffee in hand. He loved exploring the beaches of Vancouver Island and the colours of fall in Ontario.
Donald is predeceased by his parents Frank and Yvonne, seven siblings and recently one daughter.
A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday April 10, 2024 at 1-3 at the Comox Legion, Comox Avenue.
